Create a database.properties file in your resources folder.

database.driver=com.mysql.jdbc.Driver
database.url=jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/test
database.user=root
database.password=
hibernate.dialect=org.hibernate.dialect.MySQLDialect
hibernate.show_sql=true
hibernate.hbm2ddl.auto=update


In the spring config file, write below tag for loading properties file.

<context:property-placeholder location="classpath:resources/database.properties"></context:property-placeholder>

Write below tags in  spring config file for database connection:
